Volleyball Recap: A&M Consolidated's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only A&M Consolidated walked away with it. They came out on top against the Pasadena Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-17, 23-25, 25-9.

Presley Johnson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs and seven assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

A&M Consolidated was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 16 consecutive matchups.

Despite the defeat, Pasadena saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Marleen Chavez had eight digs and two assists.

A&M Consolidated's record is now 33-9. As for Pasadena, their loss dropped their record down to 23-11.

A&M Consolidated has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against West Brook on the 4th. Pasadena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
