Softball Recap: Shenandoah Zeps vs. Frontier Cougars

Shenandoah can finally bid farewell to their 19-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They blew past the Frontier Cougars 10-4. Shenandoah's victory was all the more impressive since Frontier was averaging only 2.1 runs allowed on the season.

Heather Merry made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. Merry was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Addy Harbaugh was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, a run, and a double. Brittany Farmer was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
