Baseball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

The Trinity Raiders lost 17-2 to the Jackson County Generals on Thursday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kayin Howard was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those doubles marked the first that he hit this season.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Jackson County, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Trinity will challenge Franklin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson County, they will host Perry County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
