Football Recap: Calvary Chapel Academy Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Calvary Chapel Academy's offense. They had to suffer through a 36-0 loss at the hands of the Four Corners Coyotes. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Even if they lost, Calvary Chapel Academy's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Four Corners' QB won't forget Titus Miller anytime soon given he sacked him three times.

Calvary Chapel Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Four Corners, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Calvary Chapel Academy will take on Merritt Island Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Four Corners, they are taking a road trip to take on Oasis Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.4 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
