 Even though the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, the Burns Bulldogs still came out on top. Burns took their   game against Thomas Jefferson   72-65. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Burns.
 Burns got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Lance Beam out in front who  scored eight points along with 13  rebounds and three  steals. Beam has been hot recently, having posted ten or more  rebounds the last five times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kamari Surratt, who  scored 16 points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals.
 Burns pushed their record up to 13-11 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Thomas Jefferson, they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-16.
 Burns didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest, a  78-62  defeat vs. East Gaston on the 21st. Thomas Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
