Baseball Recap: Brashear Comes Up Short

Brashear lost against Brentwood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulls came up short against the Spartans, falling 13-1. The contest marked the Bulls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brashear saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan White, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Brashear has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Brentwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brashear will face off against Perry Traditional Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulls are facing the Commodores at the right time seeing as the Commodores are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Brentwood, they will challenge Serra Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
