North Pocono waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Delaware Valley Warriors as they made off with a 10-3 victory. Considering the Trojans have won three matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Nick Reese tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Jake Reese was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aidan Bassi, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
North Pocono's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Delaware Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
