Softball Recap: Bolton Comes Up Short

Bolton entered their match against Granby Memorial on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs came up short against the Bears, falling 8-1. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Bolton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Mattei, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bolton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Granby Memorial, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Bolton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granby Memorial, they will head out to square off against Stafford at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
