Football Recap: Coosa Christian Takes Down Lexington in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Coosa Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Lexington Golden Bears 49-16. The Conquerors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by 26 points or more this season.

Mac Long continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 160 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

The victory (which was Coosa Christian's tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average over those games. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Coosa Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 17-0 victory against Tuscaloosa Academy on the 21st. Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
