L.C. Bird skates past Central Virginia Disciples with ease

Recap: L.C. Bird Skyhawks vs. Central Virginia Disciples

The L.C. Bird Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season. They breezed by Central Virginia Disciples at home to the tune of 59-27. Winning may never get old, but L.C. Bird sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Trinity Dale continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. The match was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aliyah Elliott, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

L.C. Bird pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41 points. As for Central Virginia Disciples, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

L.C. Bird will be playing in front of their home fans against Huguenot at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Huguenot comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Central Virginia Disciples does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
