Baseball Recap: Rowland Takes a Loss

Rowland fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against West Covina on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-3. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Nathanael Li was cooking despite his team's loss, going 4-for-5 with one double. Noah Sandez was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Rowland's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for West Covina, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

While Rowland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
