It's playoff time, and Fort Bend Kempner had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 78-50 win over the Madison Marlins. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Ayomide Afolabi was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 62% from the field to rack up 17 points along with seven boards and four steals. Those 17 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Washington, who went 7-for-10 en route to 16 points and five rebounds.

Fort Bend Kempner was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They are 12-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

Madison lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was De'Andre Columbus, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 boards. The victory was the fourth in a row for Fort Bend Kempner, bringing their record for this year to 18-12. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.2 points. As for Madison, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-11.
