Volleyball Recap: West Ranch Finds Playoff Glory Versus Roosevelt + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, West Ranch rose to the challenge on Thursday. They didn't even let the Roosevelt Mustangs on the board, marking their second-straight 3-0 shutout. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-18.

Devyn Kobe paced West Ranch's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kobe got some help from Dani Clewis and her 25 assists. Clewis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

West Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. As for Roosevelt, they moved to 21-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, West Ranch and Orange Lutheran will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
