Hoehne is 1-9 against Fowler since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hoehne Farmers will challenge the Fowler Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. Hoehne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.
Hoehne took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Walsenburg 85-47. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Farmers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hoehne got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathan Zamora out in front who went 7 of 14 en route to 18 points and eight steals. With that strong performance, Zamora is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Bobby Terry, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 14 points in addition to five boards and four blocks.
Hoehne smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Fowler beat Center 42-32 on Saturday.
Fowler's win came from a few key players Hoehne will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Isaiah Montoya, who went 7 of 15 en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cael True, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Fowler is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Hoehne, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Hoehne has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 40.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Fowler struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Hoehne lost to Fowler on the road by a decisive 53-39 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Montoya, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 20 points. Now that Hoehne knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
