Knob Noster came out on top against Richmond on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Spartans 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Spartans two weeks ago, they had to take a 6-4 loss.

Garrett Eames was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Mason Eames was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory got Knob Noster back to even at 7-7. As for Richmond, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knob Noster will welcome Holden at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richmond, they will face off against Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
