Volleyball Recap: Quincy Falls to Foothill in First Game of Season

Quincy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Foothill Cougars, falling 3-0.

While Quincy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Foothill's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-20.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quincy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chico at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Foothill, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Las Plumas at 6:30 p.m.
