Softball Recap: Kellis Takes a Loss

Kellis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-6 to the Lake Havasu Knights.

Kellis saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Garcia, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Giselle Ornelas was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Kellis' record is now 4-7. As for Lake Havasu, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-7.

While Kellis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
