Volleyball Recap: Hannibal Takes a Loss

Hannibal was the 3-1 winner over North Point when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Grizzlies on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Marissa Falconer paced Hannibal's offense, picking up nine kills. Falconer were helped by Aly Falconer and Malia Stolte, who contributed nine assists each.

Hannibal's loss dropped their record down to 12-3-1. As for North Point, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Hannibal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Troy-Buchanan on the 27th. As for North Point, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Whitfield on the 27th.
