Baseball Recap: Campbell Hall Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Campbell Hall had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Mount Miguel Matadors 13-3.

Nico Yu and Nasir Akil did most of the damage at the plate: Yu went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Akil went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those two stolen bases gave Yu a new career-high.

Campbell Hall was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in three consecutive games.

Campbell Hall's record is now 8-6. As for Mount Miguel, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
