Basketball Game Preview: Knightstown Panthers vs. North Decatur Chargers

Knightstown hasn't had much luck against North Decatur recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Knightstown Panthers will take on the North Decatur Chargers at 7:30 p.m. North Decatur took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Knightstown, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with 14 defeats in a row, Knightstown turned things around against South Decatur on Friday. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 69-61. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Decatur had taken Rushville down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. North Decatur took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rushville. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Decatur's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Knightstown, their victory bumped their record up to 3-17.

Knightstown came up short against North Decatur in their previous matchup back in February, falling 62-51. Can Knightstown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
