Recap: Amsterdam Rams vs. Mohonasen Warriors
The Amsterdam Rams won the last time they faced the Mohonasen Warriors, and things went their way on Thursday too. Amsterdam came out on top against Mohonasen by a score of 56-48.
Amsterdam's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aundray Fowler, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocco Natale, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Amsterdam's lineup was just a bit different on Thursday as Chris Tilley got a bit more time on the court (ten vs. his season average of 2.85). Tilley made the most of the opportunity, scoring six points. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Amsterdam has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Mohonasen, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
Amsterdam will head out on the road to square off against Albany at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Albany's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 contests. As for Mohonasen, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-45 victory vs. Cobleskill-Richmondville on the 9th.
