Hilliard Bradley came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs 3-1.

Logan Minamyer made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Hilliard Bradley is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 10-12 otherwise. Minamyer was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Minamyer wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Nashalsky, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Hilliard Bradley's record is now 12-13. As for Bloom-Carroll, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-6.
