Basketball Recap: Hondo Skates Past Dilley with Ease

Hondo's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 47-15 win over the Dilley Wolves. Given the Owls' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 623rd, while the Wolves are ranked 1499th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hondo's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Dilley, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season.

Hondo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 33-31 win against Poteet on the 20th. Dilley has also already played their next game, a 69-23 defeat against Crystal City on the 20th.
