Baseball Recap: Caney Valley Comes Up Short

Caney Valley managed to slip by Wyandotte the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans lost 10-0 to the Bears on Monday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Caney Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Wyandotte, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caney Valley will host Chelsea at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wyandotte, they will challenge Baxter Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
