Rappahannock extended their winning streak to five on Monday, bumping them up to 12-3. They came out on top against the Middlesex Chargers by a score of 8-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-3 back in March.

As for Middlesex, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly five runs.

For Middlesex's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Stith, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Stith has hit this season.

Coming up, Rappahannock will be playing in front of their home fans against Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Middlesex, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mathews at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
