Basketball Recap: Innovation Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Innovation won the last time they faced Lake Nona and things went their way on Thursday too. The Innovation Bulls came out on top against the Lake Nona Lions by a score of 36-29.

Innovation was led to victory by Nadeen Elgamal and Eli Reid. Elgamal dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, while Reid posted eight points along with ten steals and seven boards. Those ten steals gave Reid a new career-high.

Innovation smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.
