St. Mark had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.2 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cistercian Hawks 83-51. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Hawks are ranked 731st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Mark's is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Cistercian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

St. Mark's will host Greenhill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cistercian, they will head out on the road to challenge St. Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
