Volleyball Recap: Williamson Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Williamson had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Lyons Lions on Thursday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 16 in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-7, 25-11.

Lyons pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Williamson is taking a road trip to challenge East Rochester at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lyons, they will take on Hornell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
