Green Valley entered their tilt with Legacy on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Longhorns. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.

Green Valley's offense was headlined by Gio Ortega and Braelynn Shaw, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Clara Conrado and her 16 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sela Carr, racking up three apiece.

Green Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Legacy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Green Valley has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Sierra Vista on the 16th. As for Legacy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Sage Creek on the 16th.
