Andrean won the last time they faced Hanover Central and things went their way on Monday too. The Fighting 59ers walked away with a 17-14 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting 59ers.

Andrean got a massive performance out of Cassidy Powell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two hits gave Powell a new career-high. Dani Poskin was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.

Powell wasn't the only one making solid contact: Andrean kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Andrean's record now sits at 7-2. As for Hanover Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Andrean didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-8 loss against Kankakee Valley on the 16th. As for Hanover Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-1 victory against Hammond Morton on the 16th.
