Soccer Recap: Alexandria-Monroe Falls to Union City in First Game of Season

Alexandria-Monroe had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Union City Indians, falling 11-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Alexandria-Monroe were already down 7-1.

Looking ahead, Alexandria-Monroe will take on Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union City, they will square off against Elwood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
