St. Mary entered their tilt with De Smet Jesuit on Tuesday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the De Smet Jesuit Spartans by a score of 76-69. The win was all the more spectacular given the Dragons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th in Missouri, while the Spartans are ranked third in Missouri).

St. Mary's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.0 points over those games. As for De Smet Jesuit, they moved to 21-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's will head out to challenge Evansville Reitz at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. De Smet Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
