Legion Preparatory Academy skates past Southwest Christian School with ease

The Legion Preparatory Academy Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Southwest Christian School 72-45 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-21.

Legion Preparatory Academy's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mari Dangerfield, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Rayna Williams , who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.

The win was the fourth in a row for Legion Preparatory Academy, bringing their record for this year to 16-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Southwest Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Legion Preparatory Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Grind Prep at 8:30 p.m. on January 12th. Grind Prep has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 640 points over their last ten matches. As for Southwest Christian School, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
