Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Proviso West). They claimed a resounding 64-27 win over the Streamwood Sabres. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Panthers with their most commanding win of the season.

Despite the loss, Streamwood saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jermaryle (JC) Parker posted 12 points.

The victory got Proviso West back to even at 3-3. As for Streamwood, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Proviso West and Bloom will compete for holiday cheer at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Streamwood, they will be home for the holidays to greet Bartlett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sabres will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
