Volleyball Recap: Gretna's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Gretna had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Magna Vista Warriors. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Warriors back in August, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Gretna's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Magna Vista, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gretna will host Dan River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Magna Vista, they will face off against Tunstall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season.
