West Memphis and Paragould are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Blue Devils will challenge the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Memphis' offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nettleton on Tuesday. Blue Devils fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Raiders since on Tuesday.

West Memphis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cyrone Madison, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Paragould, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out Westside 3-1.

Paragould's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for West Memphis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

West Memphis was able to grind out a solid win over Paragould in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
