It was fun while it lasted, but Heide Trask's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Wednesday. They fell 7-3 to the Dixon Bulldogs. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jalyn Reece-Murray made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base. Naima Shepard was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, Heide Trask fell to 5-1. As for Dixon, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Heide Trask has already played their next game, a 17-0 win against West Columbus on the 14th. As for Dixon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against East Carteret on the 13th.
