Baseball Recap: Peoria Takes a Loss

Peoria lost against Agua Fria back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owls. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gaberiel Joe-Morales was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Jesus Aguirre also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Peoria's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Agua Fria, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season.

While Peoria had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
