Baseball Recap: Timpview Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Timpview can now relate to. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wasatch Wasps on Friday. The Thunderbirds just can't catch a break and have now endured 13 defeats in a row.

Ty Wester made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base.

Timpview's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Wasatch, they moved to 16-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Timpview had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
