Game recap: King does it all in Westbury Christian high school football team's victory over Pope John XXIII

D'Eriq King threw two touchdowns and ran for two more as
Westbury Christian (Houston, Texas) bested
Pope John XXIII (Katy, Texas) 45-22 on Saturday.
The Wildcats were up 20-15 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by King to
Gabe Simon in the first quarter.
Westbury Christian expanded its lead to 24 points entering the fourth quarter. WC scored three times in the third, including once on a
Johnny Thomas touchdown run.
Thomas and King ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Lions.
A 43-21 Westbury Christian victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
Westbury Christian (3-2) will play a TAPPS Division II District 4 game against Lutheran North next week, while Pope John XXIII (2-4) will take on Lutheran South also in a TAPPS Division II District 4 game.
