Baseball Recap: Baker Comes Up Short

Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bryant Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Wednesday.

Baker now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Bryant, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Baker beat Bryant by a score of 8-1 later that day.
