Danny Blaylock put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Blaylock's strong effort led Murray over Kearns and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Murray is 9-1 against Kearns going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
