Volleyball Game Preview: Chicago Christian Knights vs. Richards Bulldogs

The Chicago Christian Knights will take on the Richards Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Chicago Christian is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Chicago Christian came up short against Niles Notre Dame and fell 2-0.

Chicago Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Niles Notre Dame work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Richards also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Argo by a score of 2-0.

While Richards ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

Chicago Christian's loss dropped their record down to 18-17. As for Richards, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-18.

Chicago Christian couldn't quite get it done against Richards in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
