Volleyball Game Preview: Phoenix Pirates vs. Klamath Union Pelicans

The Phoenix Pirates are taking a road trip to take on the Klamath Union Pelicans at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Phoenix was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past Mazama 3-2.

Meanwhile, Klamath Union narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Hidden Valley 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Pelicans in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Phoenix's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Klamath Union, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10-1.

Phoenix came out on top in a nail-biter against Klamath Union in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
