Basketball Recap: Episcopal Piles Up the Points Against Cooper

Episcopal won the last time they faced Cooper and things went their way on Friday too. The Episcopal Knights blew past the Cooper Dragons 70-38. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Dragons are ranked 911th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Episcopal is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Cooper, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.

Episcopal will be playing at home against CHSA HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cooper, they will venture away from home to take on The Awty International at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
