Basketball Recap: West Davidson's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

West Davidson had lost seven straight headed into Saturday's matchup, but Wyatt Cooper didn't let it get to eight. The West Davidson Dragons blew past the Bethany Community Wolves 57-33 on Saturday thanks in part to Cooper, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 20 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

West Davidson's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Bethany Community, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

West Davidson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-46 loss against Lexington on the 3rd. As for Bethany Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-24 defeat against Bishop McGuinness on the 3rd.
