Softball Game Preview: Oostburg Flying Dutchmen vs. Sheboygan South Redwings

The Oostburg Flying Dutchmen will face off against the Sheboygan South Redwings at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Oostburg and 40 for Sheboygan South dating back to last season.

Oostburg fell victim to Sheboygan Falls and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 15-0 to the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan South also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Pulaski on Tuesday, falling 23-0.

Sheboygan South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Oostburg, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Everything went Oostburg's way against Sheboygan South in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Oostburg made off with a 16-4 win. Will the Flying Dutchmen repeat their success, or do the Redwings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
