Baseball Recap: Green Level Takes a Loss

Green Level fell victim to Holly Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Golden Hawks, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for the Gators in their meetings with the Golden Hawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Green Level saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Rower, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Green Level now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Holly Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Level will square off against Cary at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Green Level is facing Cary at the right time seeing as Cary is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Holly Springs, they will challenge Green Level at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
