Football Game Preview: Huntsville Panthers vs. Florence Falcons + How To Watch

Huntsville is 0-8 against Florence since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Huntsville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They really took it to Albertville for the full four quarters, racking up a 34-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Aggies: they've now won five in a row.

Huntsville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryson Grissom, who picked up 101 receiving yards and two scores. Armon Sellers handled things on the ground, rushing for 104 yards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Florence). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Grissom 43-0. The Falcons pushed the score to 40-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had no chance of recovering from.

Florence's win came from a few key players Huntsville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cade D Davis, who threw for 158 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. Klon Triplett helped D Davis out on the ground, rushing for 84 yards.

Huntsville's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Florence, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
