Volleyball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

The Trinity Trojans lost 3-0 to the Rootstown Rovers on Thursday.

Trinity was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-23, 25-20.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rootstown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Trinity has already played their next contest (against Laurel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rootstown, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 6:30 p.m.
